Default ecu issues

im having problems with my new ecu i dropped it in water by accident. i tried to dry it off with a blow drier and it dried off once i put in the car the car starts and the funny thing is that my check engine light will flash codes without the wire on the connecter thing to check codes also my car would start and be fine but once u leave it on for a while it starts to miss fire and turn off and to get the car running normal u need to either disconnect the battery to the car to reset ecu or dont turn it on for a half hour

No information on what type of ECU/car/engine.
Is there a question?
Please use some proper grammar and spelling, I am completely unsure what you are asking or really saying for that matter.

Hmm lets see an electronic device in water.....it's by no means water proof get a new one this is a silly question even if you tried to dry it off.

You don't just "dry off" electronic components. Your ECU is done. Buy a new one.
