code p0705 came up and i tested all the solenoids and they checked out ok. When the car goes to shift the rpms jump up aprx 300-400 rpm. just seeing if anyone had any ideas thanks

 

P0705 Short in Transmission Range Switch Circuit (Multiple Shift-position Input)

 

I have a similar problem with a 99 accord automatic. The check engine light came on as well as the maintenance required light. Several error codes (P0705, P0706, P0420 & P0430). I've seen P0420 before, replaced oxygen sensor at exhaust manifold and it went away. I'm new to the forum and can't seem to find anything about the short in transmission range switch circuit error code. any help would be appreciated.

 

Recheck the codes? I see a P1706 and P1706 for the trans range switch
