Ok another question on oil separators, I'm in the process of building one now, other then finishing the top and tig welding the pieces together, it's almost done, the question I have is I have the center core out of an air compressor oil separator, it has 1/2 NPT threads on it, and will screw into the threads on the inside of the cover, has anyone used one of these home depot type separators? I know they are a popular option, is the sintered bronze element used in them too restrictive for a PCV setup? this has the element and a top and bottom oil deflector already built into it, I figured if it fits, it's just something else to keep oil out of the intake.
