got bored, might as well do a build thread. ive had this one since 2010 and only done casual things here and there, last week was new wheels, wicked uca's. just got and cleaned my replacement tranny today. i drive 3000-9000 miles per month so the big goal is to look decent, ride comfortable on a budget

this is most current pik since tranny went out the other day. i'll get more pix up as i take them and start some tech in a few days when i go to swap the tranny

also the new 15x8's +25 i picked up last month. grabbed 2 sets of these at a steal, threw on 195/50/15 on 1 set, the other will get 185/55/15

how i come back from a long road trip and the spoils of war from black friday

 

so i spent the day on the tranny... and pulling a bike motor to replace the rod bearings and have the crank sent out... and running errands. getting the tranny out is clearly harder then putting it back in which is odd. gonna get some new axles tomorrow while im out and hopefully work on it some more. its at my friends garage so im on his schedule while i work on his bike as well. took some pictures, started making a diy but theres a pretty good one already here

as it stands, started car and went through the gears, tranny bolts are not threading in completely though which is a worry as the tranny is sync'd up to the block.

 

and then i decided to buy a 99 black ek this morning at the auction
