'96 Honda Starts and dies.
Every time I try and start my '96 Honda Accord, it will start and automatically die. I've tried replacing the Ignition Switch, Main Fuel Relay, Spark Plugs, and Distributor, however it continues to do this.
How does the lock cylinder work and act ? That's the round cylinder thing you put the key into. I assume you didn't replace that either ? Make a good quality video of you starting it a few times.
so that is ruled out. try fuel pressure better yet put a multimeter to the black/yellow wire back at the pump access panel and have someone start it and see if voltage varies or stays steady if voltage remains steady check fuel pressure if fuel pressure rules out check injector pulses see if anything is abnormal on the test light the way it lights up should be a steady pulse , check ohms on each injector with the injector connector off the injector. then check for compression and leakdown test, then move up to spark plugs cables cap and rotor maybe even ignition coil you can have the icm and ignition coil tested at autozone etc. when was the last tune up? fuel filter maybe too clogged and die at initial startup, main relay. post all your results and we can help you futher
