I noticed while i was assembling my 99 gsr transmission that there are a total of 6 synchros. 2 for each hub. The carbon kits only provide 5. Only 5 springs are provided too. How do you all replace the last 5-r synchro as i dont see the part sold separately anywhere?

Our Synchrotech synchro sets also only come with 1-5 and not the reverse synchro. We didn't make the carbon reverse as it usually doesn't wear out. Most often you can reuse it without problems. If your reverse synchro is bad we do sell the OEM brass style synchro individually and I'm pretty sure G.S. does as well.
