When I got into my car today I plugged my iPhone in with the lightning cable I've been using everyday since I got the car (May 4th) and suddenly I get a "USB ERROR."

I first unplugged the cable and plugged it back in. When that didn't work I rebooted the stereo. That also didn't help. I've tried a different cable. Still "USB ERROR."
Any solutions? Tried googling the issue and haven't had any luck. I'm sad that I will have to take my car in already.


*update* I called my local dealer service department where I purchased the vic. There was an update released. I'll go have them update that for me then I'll let you know if that worked.

 

Have you tried to reboot the phone, not the stereo?
