Default old topic new question

i had a thought took a second to use google instead of posting a new thread. my question the good ol how big can i go. i found this in a thread and noticed that he went 9 in front and 8 in the rear. why is that?

Pure track car, he wants as much contact in the front as he can get for obvious reasons.

then why not 9 in the thront and rear. why use a smaller size in the rear.

Weight reduction, balance of grip (less weight in the rear + too much grip = understeer). Probably a few other reasons as well. I run 16x8 at the front and 16x7 in the rear. I found it to be better in my opinion.

did you have 8's in the back before you came to the conclusion 7's were better in the rear
