So i have auto windows in my 97 civic. on my driver side window controls i can roll the passenger down and not the driver. I unplugged it and looked at plug and it look like it got hot. Could just the driver side short out in the plug? I took the panel off and everything is plugged in and my motor is only a yr old. Could it be the box the buttons are connected to? Some help please

 

It could very well be shorted out on the driver side switch. But have you checked your fuse for the drivers side window? If that all checks out to be okay, then I would get a known working power window switch and see if that helps at all.

 

Haha naw didnt even check the fuse lol. But ill check that and appreciate the help
