Default JDM D15B Code 43 Fuel System

So I finally got the check engine code, car is running rich and idle is being weird when it first starts. The CEL code is 43 which is for fuel systems. So what would the list of stuff be for the fuel system? I know it's fuel filter, fuel pump and gas cap. Going to get a fuel filter today when I get my pay check. Some other idea's of what it could be would be nice, finally getting a step closer to making this problem finally go away.

what ecu are you running? injectors? rich means too much fuel, a leaky injector could cause a rich mixture..but if youre not running the right fuelmap in your ecu that coul spel trouble as well.. if you have either a p28, p08, or p28 with p08 maps you should be good.. keep me posted on what you find, im finishing up on my own d15B build myself.. just waiting on my mount bracket to be machined and i'll get it in my car..

p28 idk what maps, it was swapped to the jdm d15b with 70k. Got transmission work done and it started doing this. Idk if the retards that had it before me tuned it or not but i'm gonna get it done myself. I know the catalytic converter is full of fuel and busted, getting exhaust in couple days along with the shifter bushings. Right now what I'm gonna try is fuel filter, cleaning the IACV with Gum Cutter, probably just replace it. If none of that works prob gonna just get injectors.

EDIT: And possibly a fuel pump, gonna try and get a ohms reading off it to see if it works before I buy a new on.

I had one years ago through code 43, it ended up being the O2 sensor.

Not saying this is going to be the case for you, but it may be something worth checking out, since you are running rich.

I actually already replaced that. Was a denso 4 wire since it's the p28

Couple more things to try, will probably find out tomorrow.

So the fuel filter and cleaning the IACV didn't do anything. Could it be the fuel rail? And when I put it in neutral with my lights on at night, clutch and the lights get dim. Give it has with clutch in they get brighter, the idle is fluctuating as well.
