90Dx intro question and future hopes
Wats up every one so I bought a 90 dx hatch as a db (daily beater) its got. A bitof rust but for 175 k it runs like a champ except
the spark plugs flood with oil I plan on changin the tubes n valve cover and doing a tune. Up which brings up a question the car sometimes stalls or loses all power when pulling away from a almost stop or stop it doesn't die but it won't move a few. Pumps of the pedal and it cruises away will this cure it ? Pretty much I want to ride it out till I can save cash for a b18 or b16 swap still haven't decided on what power level I want out of it thanks in advance ps while in park I noticed if I fully open throtttle it will sputter and back fire not sure if its tied to the problem mentioned

Especially for a car with that many miles, get new timing belt, tripe check for correct timing, new fuel filter, and you will probably solve the sputtering issue for the most, as for oil in the spark tubes, the tubes have a seal, which I'm thinking you have to take the head off for, been awhile, but I flooded mine out due to a bad pcv valve, so might as well replace that as well to be sure. Cheap. But new headgasket is a must.
