94-97 Accord. Where is the sight glass for AC ?
I was just looking at the shop manual for our cars and it indicates that there is a sight glass near the low pressure AC line. I see a square aluminum block where it SHOULD BE but I haven't found it. Am I missing something or did they not include this in ALL cd5 models.
My car is a 94 Accord LX, with auto trans.

dude i had this same problem. its hard to see when its covered in dust oil, etc. you know how it goes old cars. i have to wash my engine bay before i found it. and it was under my nose the whole time. i felt stupid because i knew it was there i just couldn't see it, and my brain didn't think that day to wipe away with my finger
just get some manifold gauges, don't rely on the glass, or are you thinking your ac is empty? if so you can take the pressure switch connector and jump it for about 30 seconds and see if it even BEGINS to change temperature on any of the lines and inside the car, either way i reccommend to get the manifold gauges it is the best tool you can buy for a/c besides a pump and evacuator
Car is a 1994 Accord LX automatic, and it is a factory system, nothing has been replaced all original.
Does anyone have a clear diagram so that it can be easily pointed out?
OK, now I am a little clearer on the subject thanks for your help everyone I am going to check again.
I'm almost positive that the official shop manual indicated that the sight glass was positioned in line next to the high and low pressure refrigerant charging ports.
