I don't know why anyone would want to afford to dd a lude on min wage. The cost of premium takes the wind right outta the sails lol. Mines down with a blown clutch for at least a month and I make over 2x of min wage . Im just lucky to have a beater to get me around till then.

If you have a good starting point, then a good amount of time can make it look great. I've definitely spent more money on oil changes, fluids and filters then anything else for this car(except for gas of course) and it is not the cheap stuff and that is pretty well all I have done for the two years(50,000km put on) I've had it so far. Clutch is the first mechanical thing that needs to be changed out. I use pretty well nothing but the best for my 5gen. She is damn near mint aside from some chips on the bumper. Car is 100% OEM aside from the filters and oil lol.

Thats what I get for driving like a toolbag last week, shifting at 8k, fubar'in my clutch :/, I was planning to upgrade when things went out, just not this soon hahaha. Makes me sad I gotta drive my shitty subaru for the next month instead. lol

Long agao, wheni didnt make much moeny at all, i use to have to save and save jsut to buy small parts, but after some time goes buy you build up a collection of parts and then when you have all you need , you install them. Just beacue you cant afford to buy everythign in one shot doesnt mean you cant upgrade your lude, it will just take a little longer, thers no shame in that. Be determined and your wage wont make the difference, time will!

Ive been stacking part for my downed lude for two years now.... Will be super nice when i slap everything on at once! Patients is a virtue, in time good things will come. I make $11 a hour and most of every paycheck goes towards the lude. Its consumed my life trying to fix this damn thing lol... I bought some parts, then i need these supporting mods. Since im in there I might as well replace this and this. Im in too deep to turn around as of now, not counting engine or trans. I have like $3000 in parts alone sitting on a shelf for my 94' v-tec model, and im still a bit off from finishing...

I sell my body at the corner of 5th and main st, and all my money goes to court fees and then my Lude! That's just what I do and don't come near my spot.

Not a Prelude, but similar. 94 Accord EX. I worked minimum wage for 8 months and now I'm a cashier at $8.00 an hour. Boosted, tuned, and still had money to take my girlfriend out to eat. All how you spend it! Look for deals. Ebay is a great resource, bought my $320.00 new Mishimoto radiator for $200.00.
