boost by gear, lsd, energy master bushing kit, motor mounts, torque mounts, spring rates

atleast a 24.5" slick depending what class you run. if its a ***** out go as fast as you can 26" m/t

I diff has NO effect on traction at the drag strip. Been VERY fast on an open diff... If they made an open diff that held up I'd still be run one.

In 09 I tuned a friends CRX that weighted 2300lbs with driver it went 9.62@153 with a 1.53 60',4.2 330'.. Car had an open diff, stock axles, stock trans, no cuff. Had a 4 stage time base boost control (that I only used 3 stages)on an Electramotive Tec3 (no fancy ****..), no lead up front.. The car was built with technology from early 2000's... IMO parts don't make a car go fast. A REAL TUNER and a GOOD DRIVER does that for you.

In 08 we won True street Imstar, WCF and Honda day at atco with this car (3 in a row). I street tuned this car (the owner hated the dyno).

Car had a 3 bar map sensor on C16. The driver had to watch the boost gauge in 4th gear to tell me what the boost was so that I could adjust the timing... Also reading plugs. True old school **** lol

Thanks! I'm no beast.
I try to have the best results with what I have to work with. I don't believe in throwing money at it.. I never settle for "this is the best I can do". I'm always searching for the perfect run. I'm always tweeking on the tune trying different things seeing what work and what does. I'm not afraid to throw away a pass trying something. You can do ALOT with simple boost control and 2 step, tire psi and driving methods. I watch guys go pass after pass blowing the tires off and just scratch my head..

Reduce power in the lower gears but you should be able to hook that power in second gear what size slicks? The diff will most certainly help but you can cut high 1.60's with and open diff and get traction in all gears. Sounds like car needs a lot of setup and seat time and dialing in of boost control

**** that. You want to hook the power in 1st gear.. Regardless of slick size apply the right amount of power to not bog but not too much that it spins.

Is that not what I said reduce power maybe I didn't explain enough. Reduce power low enough to gain traction. In any event it's obvious his car needs a lot of setup and seat time. If we can hook 450whp on 23's with open diff and terrible suspension and not traction bars there is no reason he can't put down more with a larger tire with the proper setup. My car gets horrible traction 1st gear but I haven't the car up yet as that way on terrible eBay coilovers and putting down full power because of boost control issues but once in2nd gear would hook full power no problem. That was making a pass at 22 pounds 550-560whp
