Default H23 TB Help

I have a F22B2 that I'm gearing up to do a F23 IM swap. I have my IM and now looking to put H23 TB on it. Before I do that I'm going to have maxbore.com bore and port match.

My accord is AT and so how do I know the TB came from AT setup? Also, in the pic attached you can see the vacuum go 2 different ways. Does that matter or is it an indicator of whether or not it came from AT or MT ride?

Thanks for the help as always!

If its for an auto neither of those throttle bodies will work.

It can be made to work with enough creativity. Right now I am trying to get a B18B throttle body to fit on a 94 auto.

Thanks. Can you tell me how to tell if it'll work for an AT? Beginning to be a pain trying to find one.

It needs the A/T actuating/kickdown cable real on it as well as the throttle cable real. Don't do much work on automatic trans cars so I'm not 100% on the exact differences. Can you take the cable reals off an A/T F22 throttle body and put them on the manual H23 TB? I wouldn't think that it would require much fabrication to do that.

The F22B1 with AT has three cables controlled by the throttle body. The throttle, the transmission kickdown, and the cruise control. There is a mount for a stud that is used with return spring for the throttle that is different from that on other throttle bodies. If you don't use cruise control, the you could switch mounts for the kickdown and it would work. You really need to visit a salvage yard and look at how other Accords, Preludes and Acuras mount their cables and see what would work for you.

I'm not using cruise control. In fact I removed it from my F22B2 and there is only 1 cable coming into my current TB. Thanks for the advice for the salvage yard. I'll see if I can find one. The 2 I've found local don't let you walk around the yard. They pull the parts and then sell out the front.

Alright so I did some research and have another question. From what I read the H23A1 was on all 4th gen Preludes (91-96). I found a TB at a local junk yard from a '92 Prelude 2.3L AT - $50. Can you guys confirm my research regarding it truly being a H23 TB for that year?

Thanks again - you guys are a huge help.
