Here is the problem....

I blew up my B16A tranny. I bought a 91 LS Integra tranny. Took my old tranny out and replaced it. Now here is where the problem starts. Everything is hooked up right as much as i can tell. I shift it into first and completly let go of the clutch.... no movement and it does not stall, same with reverse and all the other gears. I tried adjusting the clutch cable ( as the pedal feels to high) and the tighter it goes the harder it is to get it into gear. But still no movement and no stalling?


I can only think that either my clutch is farked or something with the shifter linkage???

I really have no idea can anyone help

 

does the transmission shift smoothly with the clutch in and the car off? the reason i would ask this is because i have had a friend break his shift fork, and it felt like his car had an empty transmission. you could move the shifter however you pleased, car running or not.

 

what does the pedal feel like?
