Hi Guys, haven’t posted in awhile, but I have a question. I did search the forums, but am getting conflicting answers. I have a 1999 Civic Hatchback DX and plan on doing the power windows and locks conversion. Over the weekend I was able to source parts from a 99-00 Civic SI. Parts list below of what I got. What I’m confused on is some people said I would need the dash harness as well? While others said I would only need what I have listed below. If someone that has done this mod could shed some light it would be appreciated. I’ve seen some conversion kits on sale on HT, which the ones I’ve seen never come with the under dash harness. Last question since my Civic is the same year model 99-00, do I even need the SI floor harness? Never took my carpet out, but shouldn’t the floor harness be the same in my car?

1. 99 Civic SI: Complete floor harness
2. 99 Civic SI: Both door harnesses
3. 99 Civic SI: Both door guts (regulators, etc)
4. 99 Civic SI: White keyless entry box (No blue lock box anywhere in the car)

 

you'll need to get the firewall (cabin) harness if you want it to be (mostly) plug and play. the plug for the keyless box is a part of the cabin harness on 99-00. you'll have to do some rewiring for the rear wiper.

you can't use your stock harness without having to add all the necessary wires. they're just not there on your car.

 

Kyden would you happen to know the part number? If I'm not able to get the harness how hard would it be to get it wired up?
