Default for those thinking about changing your inner tie rods and rack end bushing

Go for it, it's not hard at all.
You will need a pick set.

take of the outer tie rod and remove the bellow boot covering the inner tie rod.

Then cut off the tabs on the lock washer to the inner tie rod.

Use a dremel or simply push them pack with a chisel and light hammer.

For the rack end bushing (if you have a new one, you will see there are slots near the buttons that hold it in place in the rack)

Move your steering wheel all the way to the right and with two straight picks put one in the slot near the button (buttons are 8 mm from the lip of the rack and pinion) and one in the opposite side until it starts to pull out from the lip.

at the same time try to slide it away from it's slot.

Do the same on the other button.

Slide it over more till your sure it won't pop back into place.
Turn your steering wheel all the way left.
The bushing should have slid out just enough to use a hook pick, pull on it slightly till you get it out

To put the new one in, grease it up lightly
slide it in in the same orientation the buttons line up with the slots.
Use the straight picks in the slots to give the buttons clearence.

Tap it into place with something soft. I used the rubber handle of a hammer. then slid it in with a flathead screw driver until it clicked into place.

The buttons are at 1 and 7 o clock.

No need for removing the rack from the car, I was worried about it's difficulty after reading some threads.
I bought two of these

I have an extra bushing because I though I might mess the first one up. I'll try to post pictures soon.

Yeah it's a pretty straight forward job. The rack end bushing is a PITA, but with the right tools, it's not bad at all.

This is how it sits in the rack

slide a straight pick into this slot (red circle thing). I used a fatter one here to help pop out the button

where the blue arrow is I slid a smaller pick in there and pushed in that direction to move it away from it's slot.

Once it's out, I used a flat head and slid it about 5 mm away from the hole
turn your steering wheel left and the rack will slide out pushing the bushing along with it.

Make sure the rack is all the way inside (steering wheel all the way right) before you remove the bushings buttons from their place

You can use a hook pick to get it out on the green spot
