Default Newbe with timing question

Hey forum. So to start off with I am very new to tuning Hondas, however, I have always wanted to. I have been tuning carbed bikes for a while so naturally I want a stupid fast car. I just purchased a 92 Del Sol with a Jackson Racing supercharger (not stupid fast by any means but it's a start). I was wondering what timing advance I could safely use without killing my motor. I know it is recommended to retard the timing 10 degrees, but I set the timing to 10 degrees advance; much more power. Any advise would be appreciated. Thanx.

My question is, if it already has the JRSC on it why are you even considering monkeying around with the timing? Are you listening for any rod knock at idle as you advance the timing or are you just messing around and going by feel??

Piston meltdown with detonation from advancing too far:

Still think that's a good idea? What is your experience with Hondas and Forced Induction? Keep messing around in areas in which you have no expertise and you'll blow that car up in no time. I guarantee it. Put the car BACK to whatever state it was in before you started experimenting and find a REAL tuner to look at it.
