I have a p28 with a mugen chip but that chip has no rev limiter and I need one. Is it difficult to rechip and ecu if you have a basic knowledge of wiring or is it diificult?
Does anyone have any detailed directions to do it or has anyone done it thereself?
Thanks

you need to know what you are doing to 'swap chips'. He watched his mechanic do it, and he realized it was more complicated that pulling out the old chip and plugging in the new one....
it is more complicated than just taking an old chip out and putting a new one down. You have to desolder quite a few holes, add some resistors, add a chip and a socket. One wrong move and the ECU is toast.
