Default d16y8 help!!!!!

I have a 98 civic ex qith a d16y8 stock with cold air and megan racing catback exhaust. Which would be better for moror swap ls vtex or gsr? Ans what all is needed. B16 is too over rated and I had a 98 gsr and loced the performance.
Also what's max power from d16 without boosting it?

d16 with bolt ons maybe 120-125 WHP if the engine's healthy...vtex ? VTEC** lsv isn't going to be reliable unless done right so i'd say GSR. if you had a GS-R this should even be a question

Unless done right lsv b20v will not be as reliable as a gsr. besides the ls bottom end limits your redline to 7K
