Default OEM hood identification

How do we tell an oem hood from a sorta-fit style? Any distinctive markings? I know on some a/m parts they have an arrow with numbers around them, but I am curious as to wether an oe hood has any markings. Thanks

When purchasing non-oem car parts, you should get capa certified parts.

That group has a web site...www dot capacertified dot org

OEM Parts from honda will have an R DOT label same size as the vin sticker. sometimes its painted over but if it is an oem replacement R DOT will be present.

The OEM '94-'01 Integra replacement hoods should have 'R DOT' stamped into it on the underside at the top left corner.
