OEM Hood Bra
Can anyone point me in the direction of where I could get an OEM 96-98 Civic hood bra? I've been searching around and not having much luck, and the Search doesn't seem to accept 'bra'. Are these very difficult to find, or am I just not looking in the right places?

Re: OEM Hood Bra
I just picked up a full nose mask from the dealership yesterday. Last one they had at there location and said they just discontinued them. Wasn't to much either $109, and that was for the full nose mask. If your wanting just the bra get the full nose mask and just use the bra. Just call your local honda dealer, or order one through hondapartscheap.com

Online parts catalogs will mostly list all items ever available even if those items are no longer available to them.
I bought a half nose mask about a year and a half ago or so, right before Honda discontinued them. It cost me about $60.
Optional parts aren't produced forever. They get discontinued and then you'll start having a hard time finding them really quickly sometimes.
We've seen it happen with lips, ashtrays, floor mats and now nose masks.

Does your car have breasts? Why does it need a bra? Just kidding, I'm just not a fan of the look. Why do you all want them? I'm not trying to hate, just curious. If you like the appearance, grab one up by all means.

Re: OEM Hood Bra
I use to have a bra on my Toyota but other than my paint fading less fast under it, I didn't think it helped much. I get the idea is protection in case of random rocks or whatnot on the road but it never made a difference for my car. If you like the look though I'd go for it.

Re: OEM Hood Bra
For the OP who asked about shipping to Canada ... there's a few online dealers that do ship to Canada ... Bernardi Honda comes to mind (Google it), but the best one I've found for shipping is hondapartscheap.com ... they're out of California somewhere, but they ship USPS to Canada ... this is VERY IMPORTANT because with UPS or FedEx you get hit with ridiculous "customs brokerage" fees. I mean ridiculous ... sometimes +50% of the cost of your order. With Canada Post/USPS you will just pay the tax plus a flat $5 fee. (I made the mistake of using UPS about 10 years ago ... and have never used it since.)
Anyway, there's my rant. I didn't check if hondapartscheap.com has your bra in stock... I'll leave that up to you. Fingers X'd.
