Bar'd question!
I have a motor and transmission with no vin on either!
Will i run into problems when i try to legally certify that motor
And transmission to my vehicle?
I've already spoken to the police, dmv and chp. They all clearly
Told me that it couldn't be proven that the motor and trans i bought is stolen..
So does that mean i can still have it Bar'd??
My car is a 97 accord and the motor is h22a4, m2a4 trans

Please, people. If you don't know what you're talking about, don't give out information.
It would be better not to give out any information than to give out bad information.
Furthermore, only certain engines have vin numbers, all older ones do not. If the engine doesn't have a vin then OBVIOUSLY it's safe to say you will have no problems whatsoever bar'ing it.
They do not look up any information on the engine except the type it is. The police only cares about chassis. You shoulda listened carefully to what they said.
