Default B20 or LS/VTEC

Im going to drop a new motor in my '93 Integra GS. It currently has a B18A1 paired with the YS1 5-Sp tranny both with ~244k miles. I can get a rebuilt B20 for about 1000, a b20 from hmotors for 650 +shipping, OR i was contemplating picking up a rebuilt GSR head (P72?) a kit from golden eagle and a few things from ARP. Which one would give me the best numbers from day one? What about upgrade potential? Thanks for the input guys.
