Default b20 v-tec vs ls v-tec

whats more faster a b20 v-tec or ls v-tec? could any one tell me how much horses can u get by having one of those with basic mods

Ok, I'll make it simple.

B20 = 84MM

LS = 81MM

The stroke is the same, the difference is the bore. That said, this post is against the rules I'm willing to bet somewhere so it will most likely be locked.

b20 more displacement depends on what you want to do b20 have semi weak sleeves if you get a good tune by someone known you can do alot on stock sleeves on b20s it just depens on what you want to do i have a b20/v its fun i like

Hey man what kind of tranny do u have I got a b16 si tranny its great in the city but highyway rpms kinda high is that normal can ur b20/v beat a gsr hatch?

i have a ls i really cant get a gsr like i would want cause i drive to see friends in college so i do some highway driving and b16 trannys are up there when going 100 lol

b20 sleeves are not that weak...they canhandle 300 hp daily driven easily and proven time after time.

why most people dont run b20 instead of ls is because after they bore out the ls and build it its essentially a 2.0 liter almost.

If you run N/A i would go for the b20 block / your choice vtec head and a short geared tranny.
