95 ls integra starting problem
Car will start perfectly normal , but whether it was running for ten second or an hour it will not crank again for hours. This has been persistent for three weeks.
Should I just replace the starter? Connections are good

What makes you feel you should replace the starter? You said it starts fine. After you kill it, does it crank over and just doesn't start? Does it do anything at all? Does nothing? Clicks? Describe it a little better.
Maybe it could've be the starter solenoid?
start it , then turn it off , try to crank.. makes no clicking.. no single click or anything. No engine turning over. All I can here is the low hum of the electronics turning on
Try over and over nothing. Now I can jump the starter with a screw driver and it allows someone to crank it. But it won't start again from the ignition for hours . Weird

smack the starter with a hammer a few times when it won't start. if it is a stuck solenoid it usually frees it up. by not cranking, you do mean the motor is not spinning when you turn the key, correct? Or is the motor spinning and just not starting?
Yes when it happens the motor doesn't turn over and there is no clicking. It seemed to start fine today. It has 195k on it and it's all stock , unmolested. I replaced the master cylinder and ac pulley tensioner , cv axle and valve cover gasket. Runs like a champ and doesn't smoke
