Hope everyone is well. Joined the Honda game right after deployment in 2011. I bought a db7 with a stock b18. After doing research I wanted to get "faster". So I bought all type r internals. Rods, pistons, camshafts, gears, 98 stock gsr head. I was a noob so I took my car to a shop to get it done. After the shop visits I realized labor cost was a bitch. So this past year I bought my haynes rebuild book and that's been my teacher on my DIY projects. I put on a 4-1 header and all the way back. My skunk2 IM and my buddy helped me with my 01 itr tranny and hasport motor mounts. NOW TO MY PROBLEM. I installed new mounts bcuz my oem mounts were old and I was getting a bunch of engine play when shifting and it got less w the new mounts but it got worse agsin. So we went under the car and on my rear motor mount, single bolt side that's on the crossmember, well that ttread on the crossmember rotted out. So my question is do I need a whole new cross member or is that U shaped metal piece replaceable? Help please. Thanks everyone. Go broncos!
