Ideas for a paint job?!
Hey guys, I'm trying to find the right paint for my car. I have no idea what I want to do yet, I have thought about Championship white like on NSX's. But I trashed it, so now I'm on Charcoal Grey. and I was wonder what you all have for suggestions, I want it to stand out, maybe some metal flake? I'm not sure what I want. Haha. Thanks guys!
Do the new Lexus, think it's 4t5 paint code google it or do the one on the early model is250 or is300 both nice charcoal, I would not have more flake added to a paint code or have them add more flop control, nice factory color looks good and painted right will stand out but having your flake standing out more then it needs to will take away from the car. Like bass boat style, people just see flake and not the nice bodylines or wheels or whatever else you got going on, but that's just me, but it's your car so when u pick a color just tell them to make the flake stand out and if that color has Flake (most do) they will know what to do!
now if you want black but still thinking flake, look into chrysler's pxr (i believe thats the paint code) but the flake will take away that super glossy black look alittle, so if u want deep glossy black, just use straight black!
+1 if you go black don't flake it. I've noticed a lot of OEM's doing this in the past few years and I don't like it personally. It takes away from the deep, glossy look of a pure color.
Yeah you know I have been hopping around from color to color. I'm stuck between a straight black with no flake but really glossy, Charcoal grey, or Coca brown. And I am just stuck haha.
