Okay, so my 94 ex is giving me some kind of squeaking noise. It is only when i am at a standstill in my driveway, parking lot etc. I dont think this means it is a brake issue but i want some ideas before i jump into checking it. The brakes should be fine, they are fairly new. Is this a rotor problem or what? PS-it sounds like it is mainly on the driver side.

 

so when you are standing outside the civic you hear squeaking noises? from your post it sounds like the noise occurs when the car is NOT moving and sittin in your driveway or parking lot.

Well, i mean i am in the car and when i turn the wheel to drive out of the driveway, it squeaks a little.
