where should i place the weld-in fitting... and more guage ??s
i have mechanical oil and water temp guages and i need to get the oil temp probe into the oil pan......i have the weld-in fitting but im not sure where exactly i should have it placed. i was thinking i put it about an inch or so to the right of drain hole. would this work???
as for the water temp.....someone suggested i get this Greddy adapter 34mm Water Temp. Radiator Hose Adapter
- For Greddy gauge only #16401634 $ 27.95 .....but it says its only for greddy guages.....i have the metric adapter for my autometer guage and its M16 x 1.5....... will this work with the Greddy adapter?
im looking to get an oil pressure guage now too, and the mechanical one is full sweep like i have now and they read very well......while the electrical is only half sweep......im really sick of running copper tubing through the firewall and im thinking of getting the electrical pressure guage instead, is it as precise as full sweep??? does it come with the sender or do i buy that seperate??
as for mounting the pressure connector, should i just get a T-fitting or should i invest in the Greddy block adapter that has preparation for them?? im going turbo in the summer so i figured it would help
