Icon2 1996 DC4 coupe fuse box/turn signal harness removal help

I'm about 3/4 of the way done stripping down my engine bay to paint. The only problem I've encountered is trying to remove the passenger side wiring that goes through the firewall into the cabin. I was wondering if there is an easy way to get it disconnected without ripping the whole dash apart. This isn't something I can just tape around anyways because I have to replace it. The owner before me tried to do a wire tuck and turned the wiring into a chopped up cluster ****. I've done a lot of searches and haven't really found anything relevant to what I'm looking for. Help is much appreciated. Here's some pics to give you a better idea of what I'm talking about.

It's part of the underdash harness. Not much way around it. And it is all one piece.

Can't I unclip it somewhere from under the dash? The drive side just unclipped and I pulled it through the whole in the firewall.

No, only the driver's side unclips from the brown/gray plugs.
It does not unclip anywhere in the harness, it's all one piece.

So would my best best just be cutting it all off at the firewall and then get another harness from the junkyard (not all fucked up like mine) and then just splice it on there?

Forget what I said a minute ago the plugs that go to the engine harness are fine as well as the plugs that go to the fuse box. Id just cut the turn signal part off and splice a new one on. If that would be my best way to do it...

If you can just replace mangled plugs, you'd be much better off.

Is there anything that doesn't work at all?
The way it's set up now, if everything reaches it'll work fine.

It should all reach but there are plugs that have wires cut up and stuff. Like some plugs are missing wires to them.

The plugs that are running outside the engine bay should be
-Head lights hi/lo
-Turn signals(2 plugs)
-Horn
-Large plug for the radiator fans

What I can think of off the top of my head, should be all of them.

If there are any specific plugs you need colors for, I have harnesses I can look at.

If you could tell me the colors of the plugs on the outside of the engine bay for the passenger side that would be awesome

So from top to bottom, it should be ...

-Highbeam/Lowbeam
-Large bulb turn
-Small bulb turn
-Horn plug
-Rad fan/ac fan
-Rad fan power(2wire)

If you can't tell the colors of any wires, lemme know.

Thanks man. What kind of chassis was this turn signal harness in? Will it be the same as my dc4? Or is this a dc4 harness?

The 3-wire plug is just the part that disconnected from the bulb socket.

But yes, dc2-4 are the same with headlights/turnsignals.

I see what you mean by damaged wiring/plugs, if it was me I would find a good one at a PicknPull and just replace the whole thing. 94
