Default 2003 TL 177k miles Tranny Issue. Works 4 15 minutes then stops

Ok you can drive it for 15 minutes perfectly fine, then it just acts like it goes into nuetral, then if you wait 2 hours to cool down its fine again. What could this be? Is there a common issue? It's not fried because it wouldn't keep working after it was cold.

When is the last time you had AT maintenance service? First, check the AT fluid level and color. If it is red and low, add Honda DW1 fluid until the level is between the dots. If it is dark purple and low, you need to bring it in for an AT fluid service. Since you are there at the dealer, you can ask them to diagnose your problem. I suspect your AT fluid is low so when it got too hot, it stops working. I would not be surprised if you need a new AT if the fluid is low and has burned smell.

Very common on these cars. That generation of TL, CL and Accord equipped with v6 auto's were horribly unreliable. The transmission is probably shot.
