Stick moves when in gear
Working on a 1990 Acura Integra with B18 Non Vtec.
Firstly its really hard to get it into gear. You have to put alot of force onto the stick to get it into a gear.
My main concern is that when I put it into a gear the stick still moves around like its in neutral. BUT its still in gear.
Anyone know why this is happening?
This is my first time dealing with a cable clutch

Shift linkage is worn out,
Where the linkage hooks to the trans there is a joint there where a roll pin (bitch pin) keeps it intact. That joint is most likely worn out from age and milage.
You can get a Mil spec 3/4" x 3/4" non splined joint at summitracing.com and cut out your old floppy joint and weld this one in that provides a no slop shift linkage.
