Icon4 Suggestions on how to repair rubber lists.

Hi

I'm looking for suggestions on how to repair rubber lists in front of the driver and passenger windows, on my Prelude 1998 model. May be I should buy new ones, but I don't know where I can find them. These are the rubber lists on top of the door and under the car window. The rubber is now full of stains and discoloration. They are also now more tinted grey than black color in other words.

Is it possible to polish, use any chemical liquids or polish with sandpaper, and then may be varnish or spray the rubber in the end?

I appreciate any suggestions.

Are you talking about the window belts?

It's not belts. More like rubber moulding. It's not in the mechanism with the windows. Just mouldings for the windows on top the side doors on passenger and driver seats.

The window molding is sometimes called 'belt molding' which is why I think he said that.
