Default Axle issue

I'm having a bit of an axle issue that I need to resolve ASAP. The passenger side axle seats right, but sticks out of the spindle a few threads to far. It seems to be creating a small leak from the transaxle seal (tranny seal). I can also sometimes feel a small vibration in the steering wheel that I am assuming is coming from the axle. Suggestions? I have the proper axles in. I bought 2 new ones from Honda just to confirm they weren't incorrect the first time around (always good to have spares) and still the same issue. I have a dyno day coming up in a week. I need to make sure the issue is fixed before hand.

make sure that the EDIT* MALE end is seated all the way in the tranny. they some times can be a bitch to get seated all the way.

It is fully seated. I've triple checked, hammered it on with a mallet to be sure. This is why I'm lost at what to do.

well, im lost now too. axles can be a pain but there usually fairly easy to fix.

have to tried taking them apart and looking inside the boot and how the bearings or whatever they are look?

I would but I don't need to. The axle I had in before I was going to, then I went to Honda and just bought an extra set, a) to check if I had the right one (which I do) b) to see if maybe the first axle I had in was damaged or extended or something (which it isn't). I'm feeling it's something with the bearing seat. That is all I can think of honestly. I'm going to a junkyard tomorrow and buying a used spindle just to test fit and see if that fixes it.

did this just start happening ? it's probably a bit dangerous if indeed the bearing has moved off the hub..who knows if that thing will try to slide off all the way
