Default Complete EG hatchback front end on a sedan

Hello,

I know this has been asked a lot of times but I would like to have a definite answer to this. i can get 1994 Hatchback parts for 1/4th the price of the sedan parts, so here is my question:

If i get the entire hatch front end (bumper, hood, fenders and lights), will they fit my sedan fine without any custom work?

I would really appreciate an answer to this as I am going to get the stuff tomorrow.

Thanks.

How is it that you can get parts cheaper for a hatch? Also I don't think it would be a perfect fit and the only real difference in the front end is the bumper.

I live in a country where the hatch wasnt offered and all hatch parts in junkyards etc. have no demand.

I need a definite answer on this.

If you change just the bumper there will be gaps, if you don't want gaps then you need to get the hood, bumper, fenders, headlights and corner lights from the hatchback

Coupe and hatchbacks have the same front end but sedans are different

Thanks for your response. So I should be good to go and everything should bolt right up as long as all the stuff you named is from the hatch?

Thank you. Just one last question, i hear the hatch fender is shorter. If that is true, how does it fit the car? I do Not understand that part. Some even say you need to weld the rear end the fender to the front end of the hatch fender to elongate it.

Just an update....got all the hatch stuff and the fenders wont even remotely line up. Have to cut and weld the rear end of the sedan fenders to the hatch fenders to make it work.

Also, a question: What country are you in that didn't get hatchbacks?
