ok I just don't understand how you make 12 passes and just decide that you need bars... you realize that you have to go 7s to make using bars worth it, I don't care how bad your track is we have been mid 9s with a 1.88 60' you should be able to do that on a dirt road lol.

You most definitely do not need to run 7s to make use of a wheelie bar.
Can you understand that?
hot rod is dead dude nobody uses bars, call me ignorant all you want but if you go fast and dont fall into a legitimate class than it pretty much didnt happen. wheelie bars are for stupid fast cars that have exhausted every other option not "street" cars trying to go 9s.

We see many of the racers from Germany show up at a prepared track in the UK (Santa POD) with wheelie bars, once they run on a glued track they understand there is more to come from their cars as they have only dialled in for aircraft runway style racing.
They don’t have the luxury of regular RWYB days at airstrips so want to make the most from the days, also, the weather tends to spoil the days so very limited racing.
My guess is once Steve races at the UK prepared track he’ll make more use of it in the future, as 9’s will become so addictive lol
