Default H22 turbo w/ 450cc injectors! Please help!

So I just sold my 89 b16 swapped crx, turned around and bought a built h22 turbo eg hatch. Crower-valves,springs,retainers, Cometic head gasket, Crower stage 2 cams, Crower rods, Cp pistons 9.1, Acl race bearings, Darton sleeves
Skunk2 intake manifold, Blox 70mm throttle body, .60 trim Godspeed turbo (they sold the nicer turbo before selling the car). It was originally tuned on 1000cc injectors, one malfunctioned I guess.. He had it re-tuned on 450cc injectors, the car is set at 10lbs.
Now that the background is out of the way, here's my question-
The rev limiter is set at 6000 RPM, the original owner told me that the 450cc injectors couldn't handle more than that.. This is my first boosted car, I know enough to say something sounds wrong about that.. I am going to put 1000cc injectors back in and replace the turbo with something decent before getting it re tuned. (all at once of course) BUT I dont make a ton of money at my work so that may take a month or two, not to mention having to schedule the tune at AV Engineering in Chas S.C. which has a waiting list.
Is there anything I can do about the rev limit until then safely while maintaining the 10lbs of boost of course. also while I'm asking, what turbo would you recommend for a safe 400-450 whp setup and what would be a safe rev limit for this build for both 10 lbs and 19 lbs of boost?
THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME! Sorry for drawing that out so long!

Yeah if they set the rev limiter there due to running out of fuel, leave it as is until you can re-tune with 1000s again.

okay, thanks, just thought I'd ask. It seemed like the guy got it tuned and didnt actually know about the specifics of the car. could someone tell me if that is a common setting for 450cc injectors on a turbo h22? That rev limit seems extremely low to me.. I know I could be wrong of course, I would just like to know if that is a normal setting for the setup. Thanks again

There is no "common" setting. Every car is different. Get it tuned. And I don't mean just getting a chip and swapping it out.

OH MY GOD THANK YOU SO MUCH! Like I totally meant "common" as in every h22 at 10 lbs with 450cc injectors should be rev limited to exactly 6000 RPM. Thank you so much for telling me every car is different, like I actually thought they were all the same ! You totally answered my question! Totally didn't mean that there may be some issue with the setup other than the 450cc injectors that I should possibly check on, since I am asking a question in forced induction that's extremely specific, you know what I needed? A totally vague and obvious answer! Like where did you get so knowledgeable?! I mean this is my fourth Honda, second running S300 and I was just thinking you know what, because I didnt build this one myself unlike my last car, I'm going to just slap in a chip this time and call it a day, but you totally stopped me from doing that! Dont mind the part where I explained scheduling a tune and even noting where I would be tuning it! It was a joke, totally was going to "get a chip and [swap] it out." Also "get the damn thing tuned properly" OH MY GOD same wavelength now! Cheers to you man!

I don't know what the hell it is about all the noobs that are showing up thinking they know everything and attitude on top of it but it's getting tiresome.
You can try to be a bigger smartass than me but the fact is if the answer was SOOOOO obvious why are you asking the obvious question? Get your **** tuned and stop bothering people with your obvious ignorance. And especially if you've got a tune scheduled. WTF are you even bothering wasting your damn time for? Lonely I guess. Or just needed someone to talk to about your obvious problem.

If you knew you sure didn't demonstrate any indication that you had a clue. You owned 4 Hondas? So what? You ran an S300 in one of them. So what? You obviously didn't have a clue how it worked. "Is it a common setup?" It was a joke." Come off it. You were dead serious.

I may be new asking a question, but I have been looking things up on these forums for years, and I can tell you that I am tired of seeing people like you "answer" questions I am looking for with a smart *** comment or say "Oh this has been talked about so many times." It's people like you that flood these forums with garbage, not the newbs who couldn't find specifically what they were looking for so they stuck their neck out for the first time to ask a question. So enjoy your clearly shitty life dude, I asked a question politely and you had to give me a douche answer not once but TWICE. Then you say I'm the one who's got an attitude? Clearly youre the lonely one with like 22 k posts or whatever?! I bet half of your answers are you being a douche because you were probably picked on when your were younger or your life sucks. Regardless, youre clearly a piece of ****. Like you actually need a life. It was a question, not taking anyone's time, Literally 30 seconds. asking if I should get something looked at before taking it in for a tune, if that's not worth asking then I dont know what is.
You sure demonstrated you know your **** with your run of the mill douche answers. If you think your answers would help a single person that has even LOOKED under the hood of their car, then you are actually retarded.

Also when did I say the answer was obvious? I don't know the answer, that's why I asked. If you dont know the answer then don't comment. Simple, You don't. That's why you gave a smart *** answer. You. Don't. Know. You're not even worth anymore time, write all the bullshit back to me you want, I wont answer because I actually know for sure youre in the wrong here and youre one of those people who will never learn how big of a trashy ignorant piece of **** you are to people.

Telling you to get the car tuned was wrong? I wasn't the only one to tell you to get it tuned. Why? Because THAT'S THE ANSWER!!! You think it's the wrong answer because you don't recognize it as the answer. Not my problem but I can understand why you would be frustrated by not understanding that the tune is the answer to all your problems, but frankly the juvenile name calling doesn't help your situation. Okay. How about this? Stop posting, talk to your tuner and tune the car. I thought that was made clear. All you're doing is wasting keystrokes. The thing you're asking about will be taken care of when it gets tuned so asking about "common settings" was wasteful.

I repeat; Stop talking to us and talk to your tuner. Any of these obvious questions should be directed to your tuner. ANY question you have at this point should be directed at your tuner. If he cannot answer them them find another tuner. If you have it scheduled to get tuned then just do it. I wouldn't drive the car until it gets tuned or restore the car to the state it was in when it was tuned. And if you haven't bothered to talk to the tuner past setting the appointment, I suggest you start. This didn't even need to be posted.

Is there anything you can do in the meantime? Nope. Unless you can tune it yourself. 10lbs? 19lbs? PSI doesn't break things and isn't the measure of what makes something safe or not. And you keep asking what is safe? The tuner is going to tell you that when he gets it on the dyno. We can't. Stop asking. Notice no one else is posting to tell you the thing you want to hear?

This is why you don't buy boosted cars when you don't have a clue about them or what was done to the car. Don't get mad at me because you don't have a clue.

Read everything at this link. Three times. You have a boosted car now. Educate yourself.

Listen to him, he knows what he's talking about.

Everything is dependent on your tuner now, simply because you bought it already built and boosted.

See, that link really helped! thank you. Something like that is what I was looking for. My whole point asking the question is that I need to start somewhere with this car to get it where I want it to be and since so much has been done to it I thought it would be best to start here with a question. Im sorry for how I replied before but I'd hope you could see where I was coming from on that.. Thanks

All I had to do...?
The link is in the stickies AT THE TOP OF THE FORUM!!!!! It isn't new. Been there for years. People went through quite a bit of time and effort to put together a list of links to answer frequently asked questions. I didn't have to link it. You should have seen it of you were really doing any real research. You weren't. The only people that don't seem to see it are the ones that run in here to slap up a post to have things spoonfed to them.

Jesus christ.

Pop open Smanager and look at injector duty. If its not maxed out then you can raise the limit. Do you have a wideband? If you dont know how or dont have then the answer is simply have a professional look at it.
