OB1 Code 4 and 8!! Car still starts though!
I have a 1990 honda civic lx which I converted to obd1 and im using a jdm d15b head and i'm running a p28 on it. The swap/conversion is good because I drove it around for about a month with no issues besides one. I noticed that the car would have trouble getting up to speed but it reved up fine. I figure it was the spark plugs because they are pretty worn out bad. Which I think i should replace those and possibly a tps too.
But the issue that im having right now is code 4 and 8. that day that i got the codes was when I was driving home from work and my upper hose had came undone do to a bad clap. I feel like the coolant and water could have messed up my dizzy or wiring. but i've checked out the wiring and everything seems fine. nothing shorted out, or loose or bad connections because everything was soldered and heat shrinked twice.
the car starts up with no issues it just revs to about 3k ish and sit there till its warmed up then the idle will start to bounce up and down a bit from 2k-3k.
So i'm pretty sure its my dizzy but i want to see what you guys would think. Thanks in advance.
