Default Built H oil pressure vs. oil - strange

Have a built H
Wiseco 8.5-1
K1 rods.
Bearings around .00125-.0015 on mains and .0015 rods.
Be removal. Fresh OE pump. New pickup. New oil cooler. New piston squirters. Ect.

Broke in with valvoline 5w30 conventional.
After 600 miles running Amsoil 10w30 Signature series.

On valvoline oil pressure was 105psi cold start and 35-40psi warm idle.

Amsoil is 90-100psi cold start and 20psi warm idle.

Literally changed after the oil change... nothing was done other than plugs and oil. Why would going to a thicker synthetic oil net lower oil pressure?? If I idle it at 750 rpms I'm at 9psi as before I was around 25-30...

I'm confused.
