how do i get the air out of my radiator?
so the other day i was driving and my car was over heating. i pulled over and popped the hood. there was antifreeze all over my engine bay. what had happened was one of the hoses had ripped and caused the antifreeze to spill every where. i replaced the house and and poured more antifreeze into the radiator until it was full. i turned the engine on and let the car run for a bit and was waiting for the fans to turn on. while i was waiting bubbles just kept coming up and the fans never turned on. i waited for about ten to fifteen minutes and had to keep pouring more antifreeze in the radiator. so i just filled the radiator up to he top and capped it off. i then let the car cool off and poured more antifreeze in the radiator until it was full. was i doing something wrong or is there something up with my fans? can someone please help me?
1. set temperature dial to HOT
2. elevate the front of the car(helps evacuate air better)
3. remove radiator cap, turn on car and run @ 2500 rpms until fans turn on
4. Every now and then squeeze the top hose to burp out air...
5. Once fans turn on twice, turn off engine, top off radiator and reservoir and then cap the radiator

Buy that, fill it a quarter full after the radiator is full. Let the car run, keep coolant in the bucket. Let the fan turn on and you should be good.
