Icon2 I need advice/help

So I bought a b18b1 block bored to 81.5 for my ls vtec build. I'm building from the bottom up, everything new. As I'm cleaning the block I noticed a few marks on the back of the block and now I'm gravely concerned that it wont work. On the contact surface towards the left side of the oil filter, its chipped but doesn't meet with where the oil filter makes contact. Is this going to be a problem when I install the golden eagle kit? Also there is a threaded hole that seems to be cracked off. Not sure what went there before but will I need it. Ill try to attach a pic to show what I'm talking about.

Also y block is stamped with a 4/27 on the back, can anyone tell me the year?

I wouldnt worry too much about the oil filter mating surface. I think the o-ring wont be close enough to effect it..
The other port looks like it might be the oil pressure sending unit (dummy oil light on dash). I cant tell from the pics if its damaged, but whatever it is, I'm sure it could be repaired if it needs to be...

More and better pix would help..

the port missing is for your engine oil pressure switch. a shop should be able to mount a custom nipple, and tig weld it in place.

I would put a little jb weld on that filter. That's where the gasket seals. Get it as smooth as possible, then use a fine file to make it smooth... You don't want to risk losing oil pressure cause a small leak from the gasket... Stock or build!

did someone sawzall the oil sensor off the block? kinda looks like the tip of a blade eating at the filter boss.

are you able to drill and tap the oil sensor boss for a steel adapter bushing? say 3/8npt to 1/4BSPP or whatever the sensor is. is there enough meat there?

this is for a ls vtec build. i bought the block in that condition. it looks like they tried to cut it off. the block was painted gray and im in the process of stripping that paint off so it looks dirty.
