Default Oil leaking from head....is it possible?

I have an oil leak, just start down between where the tranny and block meet. Sits on top of the engine code. At first it was my vtec seal, fixed it. Next day still oil but not as bad. Valve cover is good. O ring for dizzy is new. I dont see it coming from under the dizzy. Another builder told me it was coming from the head. Ive heard too many time thats impossible. Whats your experience?

My experience on sohc: valve cover, vtec solenoid or dizzy o ring, I use a thin smear of gasket maker on the solenoid and especially valve cover.
On a Dohc:same except add the "plug" at the end of the exhaust cam on valve cover.
The vtec solenoid leak sure makes it look likes coming from the head

I wiped everything down and let it run for about half an hour watching everthing pertaining to possible leak areas. Didnt see any trickle. No drip from the dizzy, no drip from valve cover, no drip from solenoid. Im sure if it was the head leaking i would have seen it leak within no time. But nothing. I found a needle size hole in my radiator hose bubbling so i put rtv to seal it. Hopefully its that.

Did you check your cam seals behind the dizzy you might have to remove it for a close inspection

Did you replace the internal dizzy o ring, or the external dizzy o ring? There are two.

It looks like its comming from inside the tranny. I swear nothing else has oil on it but that part Between the tranny case and the block. It starts right at the top tranny bolt and leaks down to the slave selender. Its a new dizzy so that it didnt cross my mind but its possible. Ill check it tomm. But to confirm my first question, it is impossible for oil to leak from the head gasket right?

It is very possible, if you have a LS Vtec and used a Vtec head gasket. Match the head gasket to the block.

Ok now its leaking from the bolt i tigheten up on the tranny. And deff the corner part of the head. Can i just tourque the two bolts on that side of the head to see if it will stop it? Or do i have to go through the whole new head gasket deal.

Has the motor overheated lately?
Any headgasket work done or in that area?

Also did you get the head and block resurfaced for the rebuild?
