Your civic hatch weight
Let's see what everyones hatchback weighs on the scales.
I weighed 2155 with me not in it... and people say h22's weigh down a civic,uh no.
94 hatch h22 swapped
full interior
floor tar removed and firewall mat removed
no ac no ps

92 cx b series turbo, caged, all stock nothing cut just no back seats and no heater box. 2330 with me in it not adding weight. I weigh 230lbs. So car alone should be about 2100lbs or so.

Not fair my DC is a sled compared to y'all's cars. Last weigh in before removing a bunch of
Dead weight and before my cage was 2706 with me in it. I've since removed a/c, p/s completely and put manual rack, all the stuff that easily unbolts ie rear wiper and hatch plastics, antenna, spare tire etc, passenger airbag, about 65lbs worth of power and ground and speaker wire from my old stereo system days, abs brain and complete wiring removed finally ( pump was already gone)
Hoping to be somewhere around 2500 with my fat *** in the car 225.
Dead weight and before my cage was 2706 with me in it. my old 92 cx hatch b20b skunk coilovers recaro seats weighed 1940 with a half tank of gas right before i sold it. nothing under dash or sound proofing. stock glass. rota slipstreams and dunlop dirrezas 205/15r

I need to remove more weight. mines is a 1996 DX Hatch with an All Motor B-series. weighs about 2,380 with me in it (I'm about 180LBs)
so far... things removed :
- ac, ps, and no abs
- no front and back bumper support bars
- no airbags
- no rear seats - panels
- no CD player - speakers.
I think the reason my weight is still kind of up there is because of my "added" OEM power window, 2 big resonators on my 3inch Exhaust system. the entire front section is still intact including the seats, carpet, sound deadening, panels, heater... etc
I want to get the car down to about 2150 with me in it so there's alot more work to do. Hope this helps!
