Video: Dynamic Performance 8.73@172 SFWD Pass Winning at Spring Nationals
Thank you Kevin Rosario from 4BangersProductions for this awesome video!
All I have to say is what a weekend! It’s been over two years since we won an event and it was well worth the wait! It’s not an easy class to win especially with all the fast SFWD cars here in the Northeast!
On our first qualifying pass, we ran a 9.6@132 on a log pass (let off after 3rd gear). Everything looked good but on the 2nd qualifying pass I did a 1-2-1 shift. We took the car back to the shop on Saturday night to work on the car to make the final qualifying pass on Sunday morning. We stayed at the shop till 4am fixing this car and helping our customers as well. Then on the last qualifying pass, we broke an intermediate shaft. We still qualified 6th out of 16.
For the eliminations rounds, we ran consistent passes (8.89, 8.80, a bye in the semi-finals) and in the finals an 8.73. I couldn't have done this without the support from my team, friends, and our families.
I would like to thank our sponsors:
Golden Eagle Mfg, CP Pistons Carrillo, Clutch Masters, Supertech, Fuel Injector Clinic, Headgames Motorworks, Race Spec, Full-Race, TG Cylinder Head, AEM, Mickey Thompson, EatSleepRace.com, and Gato Tuning (Felix Medina)

Thanks again everyone!
We bent valves and the flywheel bolts started to back out. We replaced the head, put a new Clutch Masters Triple Disc (CM twin previously and the flywheel was damged) and changed the bearings on the motor.
Here's a video from www.facebook.com/ERacerProductions on the elimination rounds of the SFWD Class.
