Hi i need help on how to remove and install radiator support on my 98 accord?

 

I believe it is welded on. Do you have welding experience?

 

Kinda and i already got it off just need to know how to spot weld the new one. cause the old one was spot welded

 

How did you remove the old one, did you drill holes right through it? If you did then now all you have to do is line up the new one and use the holes you drilled to tack weld the new one it in place.

Temporarily bolt it on using sheet metal screws. After that hang and align all of your outer sheet metal, lights, bumper, grille etc to make sure the support is sitting in the right place. This way if its not you can remove the sheet metal screws and get everything to line up before you start welding it in place.

 

Yes i got a spot weld drill bit to drill it out. and ok thanks guys.

 

Anyone know the best way to weld on the rad support? Spot weld or what?
