Default How far can stock injectors go?

I've got a spare nissan turbo sitting around and I could bolt it onto my prelude with little effort. Its already got an apexi SAFC installed for tuning the basic bolt ons that could be used to control injection to some degree. I'm wondering if I would absolutely require new injectors to run say 4-5 psi of boost from a low flowing turbo (oem rb20). My thought is that I could throw on a 255 lph fuel pump and raise fuel pressure to about 55 or so psi, resulitng in maybe 320cc injector flow. The reason I would do this is that lowering map voltage with SAFC to reduce injection duty cycle causes the ECU to advance timing somewhat, as the ecu is receiving a lower engine load signal from map. By keeping your injectors lower flowing and instead increasing the load signal using SAFC, timing is then retarded in turn, which benefits the added boost.

In summary, is anyone out there running boost on the stock injectors and fuel system? How much power can you create under low boost on the stock injectors?

The oem map can't handle boost. The old school method was called the "AFC Hack".... which you have somewhat described. It was very unreliable, and pretty much done out of 'we don't have anything else'.... but years later, we do. Search for AFC hack if you're dead set on doing this, but I don't recommend it. It involves a little more than just using a SAFC.

Also, your fuel pressure won't change by simply putting a high pressure pump on, or perhaps you have a adjustable regulator already, I think you know where I'm heading with this.

Stock injectors are tiny...... anything above 225hp is probably pushing it. I've never seen it done, but based on math this is actually slightly OVER the limit, making several assumptions about efficiency etc.
