Battery: Honda OEM or Die Hard?
I'm leaning toward Die Hard, since the battery from factory only lasted 3 1/2 years.
At least not for 96 LS.

optima - red or yellow top...well worth the money.
Hmm.. Your Teg seems to be a 98 and up model. I don't know about your car but my car needs at least a 410 Cold Cranking Amp battery. And if you go to the dealer, you'll probably get 410 CCA battery.
My advice to you would be to go and get yourself a Die Hard battery. You can get a 490 CCA battery. It's the 52 model/series battery I believe.
But this really depends on what kind of climate you your car in. If it's a 4 season climate like Minnesota, you'll want the 490 CCA battery. Because the starter draw on a Teg, I believe is 120amps. Well at least mine was. So that means at 0 degrees farenheit, the starter will draw about 200%.. That means it'll draw about 240amps just to start it. And if you've got a sulfating battery and it can only put out 220 amps.. At 0 degrees farenheit, you're screwed.. Unless you can warm the starter up and make it easier for it to turn..
Anyways, have fun finding the RIGHT battery..

well... I don't have time to research for a better battery, so I just went to Acura and get a OEM one. I have no idea what spec it is, but the part guy told me the newer Honda OEM battery are made by Interstate. I don't see anything on the battery saying interstate, just 2 big Acura sticker.
As for the old battery out of my 99 GSR, it is made by Panasonic. I'm suprised that the Panasonic battery last only 3 1/2 years.
