Ok I bought a dx hatch from a guy and he said to start it you have to hold the key in the on possision for a little bit before starting it. Does anyone know why that would be? I am now having trouble starting it, it has spark , compression, the fuel pump is coming on and I'm putting in new injectors. What else could it be?

 

When was the last time an ignition tune up was done?

 

I have replaced the distributor, plugs, and wires. Wasn't getting fuel so replaced the pump and now I see I'm not getting power to the pump. I have spark so it shouldn't be the main relay. Checked for codes and it just flashes the srs light and the cel stays solid

 

Resolder the main relay, check fuses 24 and 31, and clean/tighten the G101 ground on the thermostat housing.

If none of this^ helps, swap in a known good ECU.
